[ Honey, I'm back! ] Poker in Slovakia’s Capital

Slovakia’s capital has been on my travel map numerous times already and it even looked like I was going to settle down a bit there for a while but the #allineverywhere force has been strong lately and I was not able to go back since late April 2022. Two months in Las Vegas, about two other months in Portugal and after a bunch of random trips to Luxembourg, Belgium, Spain or Colombia, I’m making a move to return to Bratislava soon!

The late summer and early autumn weeks come with a very condensed Poker schedule at Banco Casino that was the host of the huge Winamax September WPO and where The Festival raged until recently. As a media partner of The Festival with both my blog and as a PokerFirma.com correspondent (and as a mostly non-Hold’em player), I was intending to attend this cool mixed games event but Bogota started calling for the launch of the Circuito Latino de Poker, a brand new Poker tour being born in Colombia these weeks. I’ve finally elected to be back in Bratislava for the Banco Masters & France/Benelux festivals during the last week of October and the first two weeks of November. Although I’ve not been there myself for a while, I kept track of some of the major events in my POKER TRIPS section of THE-ROUNDERTdotnet and you will find a bunch BEAT THE RAKE promos there allowing some of you to play the Main Event of your choice rake-free.
