[ POKER TRIPS ] April, May, June - Poker, Poker, Poker

​April 2023 is almost history, so it's time to take a look at the games I'll be attending in May. As the peasant's rule goes: A right May is the key to a right year. Let's see if that also applies to poker ...

I'm about to leave Portugal, where I had a great time soaking up sunlight and catching it with our cameras together with Alexandre Rotenberg, who will also be travelling with me in May. There will be a short report and Casino City Guide content on this later. In the meantime, there are plenty of Portugal photos on the PokerFirma Faacebook page and on my blog.

Alex and I will be travelling to Malta together in a couple of weeks, but first I'm flying to Slovakia in the last week of April, where I'll be documenting the Vamos Poker Tour stop in Bratislava.

After that, I've decided to stay in Bratislava for a bit instead of doing the planned Spanish promo tour for the upcoming Million Poker event in June. I am exhausted. I have been for weeks and no matter how much I rest, I just can't seem to get fit again. The intense traveling makes it very difficult to maintain healthy routines.

The rest will be much needed because in mid-May I'm off to Malta to take part in The Festival Series in Portomaso and I certainly won't be resting there.... From there it's straight to Belgium for the conclusion of the PokerStars Belgian Poker Challenge in Namur with a Million Poker Event Day 1 at the end of the festival.

To finish off the month, I have a few things to do in Luxembourg after my stay in Belgium and I will be travelling to the Grand Casino Liechtenstein for the first time ever. The Hendon Mob picks up speed again with another THM Championship event from the end of May to the beginning of June, and I was kindly asked to accompany them as a photo partner in some of their upcoming stops: a great addition to my poker calendar and a real honour to have been chosen by this international poker brand to document their interventions in the live poker scene.
