PokerBelgique will be back on the road with new #pbmasters plans for April. Next month's stop will be at Grand Casino Aš in the Czech Republic.
It's been an intense Poker week at the Grand Casino Aš Poker room in the Czech Republic.
I arrived last Wednesday, on the 27th October for a Poker Belgique photo documentary throughout the week and to play some cash games.
I left Madrid yesterday morning, flew to Brussels, spent the night with the Poker Belgique gang at their headquarters in Soignies (Belgium) where I shot their Tuesday 50k, packed again, drove all night to reach Aš (Czech Republic) and went to sleep for a few hours after a 30-hour trip across Europe. Here I am now until Monday at the Grand Casino Aš!
I am leaving Madrid tomorrow morning on a flight to Brussels where I will stay less than 12 hours before moving on to the Czech Republic.
Countdown before the Poker Belgique Masters at Grand Casino As next week!
I'm spending my last days in Spain for while before hopping on a plane from Madrid to Brussels early next week. From there, I will join the Belgian convoy to the Czech Republic for this last week of October.
The Poker Belgique Masters at Grand Casino As is around the corner. I posted a link to complete info about the festival in the POKER TRIPS section. Around 60 PB members have already booked their trip and it's not too late for you to join the gathering. Check out the package offers in the links.
I am still in the process of trying to twist my agenda around the right way to be able to attend the event with a camera or two and a bit of cash but I am drawing thin for this one at the moment ^^ Updates soon ...

During these days in April 2019, I had the immense pleasure to get invited by Frank Koopmann's to his Big Wrap festival, probably the coolest PLO event there has been so far. I played a ton but I also shot a lot of photos.
One of the event's ambassadors was Fernando 'JNandez' Habegger, the PLO MASTERMIND guru. We were meeting with his crew almost every day for breakfast and I spent a lot of time with his photographer, Lionel Ceccavara, who happens to be an awesome landscape photographer. Go check out his shots!
Shoutouts to Tom Smeets who runs a really cool Poker website called Poker Ecosystem and to Luuk Botter who runs a brilliant PLO Youtube channel of his own as a personal side show.
I am especially happy that the JNandez crew decided to purchase a set of photos of mine and that those are still displayed on the PLO MASTERMIND website today.

9 stops have been announced last December when #spfpoker 2020 was launched. In the meanwhile, we have increased this number to 11 and it might not be over yet ... I left the Iberian peninsula last night and I am getting ready for month number 2!
February will kick off with the SPF King's Winter Edition and I am planning to make my way to Prague a bit before. Maybe to enjoy myself in one of my favourite cities in Europe and maybe to go play my favourite card game in Rozvadov ...
As a matter of fact, the Big Wrap will soon be back just before the Spanish Poker Festival. For the rest of the month, it looks like I'll be cruising around again quite a bit besides the Czech Republic with trips to Dublin (IE) and maybe to Scheveningen (NL). I have no accommodation options to share for Scheveningen for now but King's can offer you good deals for your rooms during the Big Wrap.
For the #spfpoker stop at King's, we have a few 5* packages left including airport shuttles from 3rd to 10th February. Also, don't hesitate to request offers for single nights.
Dublin is always a great place to be to play cards and I have hotel deals to share with you.
Scroll down for visuals and out more in the POKER TRIPS section.
The 3* and 4* hotel packages have sold out over the last days bringing the SPF packages to a total of more than 160 already. The first SPF King's edition of the year is building up!! In addition, a group of 100 T.I.P.S. Indians will be around for the High Roller events.
For this coming new year, you can call me 'El Ambassador' ^^
As a matter of fact, after years of collaboration and of #nuncasuerte , I am very veeeery happy to be officially part of the Spanish Poker Festival crew as an ambassador for the brand.
We have lanched a completely new website this weekend under www.spfpoker.com with the announcement of the 11 SPF stops of 2020. There will be 9 cities on the tour map with two stops each in Madrid and in Rozvadov. Also, you will find some new spots on the map like the stop in Vigo for instance. Find out all there is to know about this upcoming #spfpoker year.
I can help you find all the info to make your way to the stops in case you are planning to drop by and you will always find the available packages in the POKER TRIPS section of this site.
See you on the Spanish roads!

My favourite thing about Poker by far is the cultural mix overdose I get again and again! After a micro stop in Estoril, Lisbon last weekend, I made my way to southern Spain for the Sevilla Poker Open just before the Spanish Poker Festival National Finals in Madrid starting this weekend!
SEVILLA POKER OPEN info can be found all across the social media landscape:
My photos of my Seville stay are online in the photo section of this website.
New image, new brand colors, new website, new buy-in for the Main Events [€250], new stops, better social media stuff, live coverages ... The SPANISH POKER FESTIVAL is still going strong. Every national stops features a guarantee of €25.000 except for the Madrid finals that are coming up in mid-December with a €50.000 guarantee!!
The festival promo usually comes with hotel packages and free airport shuttles for the Rozvadov legs in Czech Republic.
Find out more on their fully detailed website!
I spent most of my November in Portugal playing cash games at Casino Estoril and enjoying what this awesome country has to offer. Still no tournaments for now but at least 2-3 Poker tables are running every day with blinds starting at NLH 1/3 and some PLO. The Omaha game is the local highrollers' playground but it's PLO4 only so not insane swingy ... I'll be back soon. For sure! But let's have a look at what's coming up for the coming weeks. In the meanwhile, you can have a look at my photo archive on Flickr.
Another big success for Roland Van de Linde's crew with the Dutch Classics in Rozvadov gathering more than 600 Dutchies and Belgians from 18th to 23rd September and there is more to come.
As a matter of fact, Pokerreis will be back at it at King's Resort with the 8th leg of the Dutch Classics in late January (from 22nd to 27th) and an even larger BENELUX CLASSICS is coming up for May 2020.
Save the dates for this festival from 20th to 25th May featuring a Main Event of €220.
In the meanwhile, as a Luxembourg-based player, I will be gathering interested players and Poker clubs from the Grand-Duchy through THE-ROUNDERdotnet.
I can help you:
- to organise your group trip
- to promote a ranking competition with your club
- to promote Pokerreis through your club and provide your members with a cool Poker trip opportunity
Room rates and more news to come soon in this blog!

Belgium, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Georgia and U.K. for some Poker and Rock'n'Roll :p
PLO fans, if you thought the Big Wrap that took place at King's Resort this April was a unique chance, think again. Frank Koopmann will be back indeed and the PLO party is announced for September already with cumulated prize pools of €2 Million Euro and tournament addition like the long awaited PLO Hi/Lo for instance.
The full schedule is available in the King's Poker section.
The second editions of the SPF is coming up for the summer. After the classic winter edition in January, the Spaniards will come back to Rozvadov for a week or two in July so maybe it's time to save the dates! The SPF Rozvadov Summer 2019 is taking place from 21st to 28th of July this year but there is a lot more events put on throughout the year by the iberic Poker organisation.
Find their annual dates in the flyer below and find out more on their website!
Une des règles fondamentale au Poker de tournoi est la suivante: Quand ça run, ça run! :D
Vladimer Gigolahvii a encore frappé!!
Two weeks in Rozvadov from late April until yesterday for 2 weeks of King's madness during the EPS Rozvadov. More than 700 photos came together during my stay and all of them are available HERE.
The Poker action never stops at King's Resort and the next big event is already ready to go. From today, players will be able to take part to the live flights of the Party Poker Grand Prix fiesta after the online Day 1s.
The King's Resort offered their staff the opportunity to play a tournament today and as I am only travelling tomorrow morning after 2 weeks of #epsRozvadov, I couldn't resist the urge to shoot those who've been my colleagues so often by now in their raising mode :p
Enjoy the +700 E.P.S. shots in THIS FLICKR ALBUM.
The Staff Tournament photos are HERE.
This one was not listed in the regular tourneys, obviously, but you can view the full King's Resort Poker tournament schedule under in THEIR POKER AGENDA.
