While the first casinos are dropping the plexiglass separation walls, Poker events take more time to come back in Europe. Reports about Poker room re-openings are nevertheless coming in from many places all around the old continent too. Amongst the first to re-open in Europe, was Banco Casino in Bratislava where a Belgian Poker Festival is about to take place. By now, Live Poker is progressively back in Italy & France with TexaPoker and the Paris Poker Clubs will also re-open these weeks. Belgian casinos too are about to open their Poker rooms again as far as I know.
King's Resort is back in the Czech Republic for all tournament lovers. Spain is also slowly coming back with a couple of summer events announced from Castellon to Madrid and Poker events are also slowly coming back to Portugal.
It has been very long since we had the last MTT in Estoril but that has absolutely nothing to do with any sort of virus. The local Poker management decided to stop putting on Poker tournaments some 2-3 years ago and Casino Estoril has been a full time cash game Poker room since then. Troia still go on with MTTs and they have been announcing small tournaments over the last weeks with the first Main Event in a long while this weekend!
For those who do not know, the best way to get there if you are travelling from abroad, is to fly in through Lisbon International Airport and to take a train to Setubal. Renting a car might also work out well as it should not really be a long ride to Troia. Just consider that the casino is sitting at the very end of the Comporta peninsula and that the only land access forces you around the whole Estuário do Sado natural reserve, adding almost an hour-drive. The other option is to use the small ferries to cross from Setubal.

I will be skipping this one since I am flying to Luxembourg early tomorrow morning to take care of personal stuff, do some Poker homework, visit family and I will also be busy with the shooting of a documentary film we have been struggling to reschedule over the last weeks. More news about that soon here... I hope everything works out fine so I will be back in Portugal by late June.
Anyone in for a trip to Troia this summer?
