Reunion with the CNP family & first impressions of Bogota

Colombia, officially the Republic of Colombia, borders the Caribbean Sea to the north, Venezuela to the east, Brazil to the southeast, Ecuador and Peru to the south, the Pacific Ocean to the west and Panama to the northwest. It's a whole new region for me, as I've never been to this part of the world before, apart from a few short stays further north on lush Caribbean beaches. The best months to visit are probably December to March and June to September, so we are right in the Goldilock zone of Colombian tourism. Generally there is less rain and higher temperatures, but it is a vast land of mountains and valleys. Depending on the altitude, a waistcoat can be useful all year round.

I have just made my way to the start of the Circuito Nacional de Poker and many photos are already in the can. There are albums from the flights from Brussels to Madrid and Bogota and first impressions of my arrival and reunion with the CNP family with a little documentation of the final preparations. Although 888poker is the long-time online partner of the CNP family in Spain, the emerging Latin American poker tour here is financially supported by GG Poker. The Bogota Festival will take place from October 10-17 at the rather posh Wyndham Bogota Art hotel just outside the city centre with a magnificent view of the mountain range just beyond. A new Latin America tour is in the emerging for which arrangements have already been made with venues and some destinations are already confirmed.

There won't be much time to relax after this event, as the CNP Madrid Gran Final is just a month away. This will be an opportunity to celebrate 888poker's 20th anniversary and many satellites are available on their .es and .com networks to win entries and packages.

A full presentation of the CNP Gran Final event in Madrid at Casino Torrelodones will follow shortly. I just have to get rid of this nasty 7-hour jejtlag quickly.
