A new festival will be born shortly... all aboard the DUBLIN POKER FESTIVAL

Besides providing live streaming services for poker clients like GUKPT or Winamax, D4 Events are for sure one of Europe’s leading independent poker tournament promoters still around. Over the years, they have managed to consolidate an ongoing offer of great European Poker rendez-vous.

The European Short-handed Poker Championship is simply Europe’s largest 6 Max poker festival and has grown in numbers every year since it’s inception in 2009 reaching +/- 1k fields in the 2013 and 2014 Winamax sponsored events with a buy-in of €550.

The European Deepstack Poker Championships has been on for eight years now and is still gathering players from all over the continent every year in February.

D4 Events also recently launched the Amateur Championships Of Poker, a series of tournaments taking place shortly before the EDSPC.

This year, D4 Events have decided to merge the ACOP and the EDSPC into one great Poker festival called the DUBLIN POKER FESTIVAL.

The new festival with kick off on January 30th and will last until February 8th at the Regency Hotel perfectly situated between the airport and the Dublin city center.

This new major European Poker gathering incorporates the two previously mentioned very well known events to give birth to a full 10 days of 24h table action.

[From the D4 Events website]

'The European Deepstack Poker Championships is now entering it’s 8th season, this event broke the mould from the outset by giving players a 50.000 starting stack and together with a dream structure this quickly became a 'must play' event, it has and continues to attract players from around the world. Season 7 saw the introduction of the 100.000 starting stack, this was very well received by all participants and with such positive feedback we will continue into season 8 with the 100.000 starting stack.

ACOP – Amateur Championships Of Poker enters it’s 3rd season,
this event is really going from strength to strength, a €200 buy-in gives you a 25.000 starting stack and 40 minute levels to test and hone your poker skills, this event is managed to a very high standard that you would normally only find at the larger buy-in events, professional dealers and floor staff, live streaming, live entertainment , secure environment and most of all 'fun' both on and off the tables. This event is a must for any player wishing to experience big time poker for a modest buy-in.'

The Dublin Poker Festival has something for everyone with a wide buy-in range and different Poker games on the menu. Have a look at the schedule for full details!

I will be doing a special THE-ROUNDERdotnet coverage mainly featuring buddies from Belgium and Luxembourg. If you will be in Dublin for this great festival and if you want be featured in my coverage, please make yourself known as soon as possible so I can add you to my listing.

I can make room and buy-in reservations for you without fees or commissions if you want. Just let me know.

The double room rate at The Regency Hotel is €79 per night on a room only basis, this does include Wi-Fi and use of the hotel leisure centre though.
