Beside the epic Winamax Poker Open taking place in late September at the Regency Hotel, Dublin will be the scene of another major Poker event before this fall. The DUBLIN POKER INVASION is the result of the joint efforts of the MEGA POKER SERIES and REDBET LIVE and will take place from 1st to 14th of September 2015.
Not one, not two but three Main Events will be available to the players alongside the dozens of side events. That's for the tourneys but cash games will not be missed either.
Each online company are bringing their own qualifiers for their festival dates, to experience Dublin and all of its exciting poker action and tourist sites. Dozens of players qualified from Sweden, Ukraine, Poland, Denmark, UK and Belarus according to their Facebook page updates.
First out in spotlight we have MPN Poker Tour from 2nd to 6th. The Main Event for this one is the Irish Poker Cup which is a 450 + 50 EUR NLH re-entry event with 250k EUR guaranteed in the prize pool. Weeeeeee !!
On the 7th September the William Hill sponsored Mega Poker Series begins with a 720 + 80 EUR Main Event. The estimated prize pool is 250k EUR. Weeeeeeeeee again !!
Redbet Live will host the grand final of the Dublin Poker Invasion from 10th to 14th September. This room is running hot theses last months. I have taken part to the Redbet Live ME in Prague during EPT in December 2015 and it was a blast. Nice staff, deep structure... really good experience! Since than, a lot has been going on with, amongst others, successful stops of the tour in Malta and Rozvadov (1.148 entrants). Entry fees for this Dublin Poker Invasion ME is 315 + 35 EUR and a prize pool in excess of €100k is expected.
I am pretty sure I will be in Dublin at some point during that period... too tempting... :p I will let you know if and when...
If anybody has room bookings already set for this one, please let me know...

ON THE ROAD
Before the summer of 2017, the page was animated by 2 blogs: the Poker tournament blog and the general blog. Today, only the former tournament blog remains active featuring all sorts of updates in one place only. Easier for you, easier for us ... :)
