October was packed with plenty of live poker events all over the place. In Las Vegas, where I am spending the beginning of the colder season, the Wynn Autumn Classic festival is coming to an end as the next major event is about to start on the Strip.
IN GERMAN FOR POKERFIRMA.COMVEGAS, BABY!
The PokerStars North American Poker Tour will be back at the lovely Resorts World during the first 10 days of November and I will have a press pass to deliver photo impressions from the event. The Wynn poker action goes on in the meanwhile with the daily tournaments and cash game help in this prime Las Vegas poker room and the exclusive location will soon be back on the map with the WPT Championship coming up in December for three weeks of poker enjoyment.
The NAPT at Resorts World is a festival of 36 events with buy-ins ranging from $250 to $25000 featuring highlights like:
- the $550 NAPT Mystery Bounty - the $25.000 NAPT Super High Roller - the $5.300 NAPT Main Event - the $10.300 NAPT High Roller - the $550 NAPT Cup The festival also features the 9th Cardplayer Lifestyle Mixed Game Festival. All details are available on www.pokerstars.live. ST. JULIAN'S, MALTA
Malta is also again on my radar with the two mega events coming up: The Battle of Malta and the Malta Poker Festival. My #allineverywhere colleague, Sascha Unertl, will be delivering content from the island in the PokerFirma.com News section.
The Portomaso Casino is offering high-stakes games under the GodsPoker branding during the Malta Poker Festival. More details are available in THE-ROUNDER.net Poker Trips section. Another Malta highlight will be the last The Hendonmob Championship before the great voyage to Cape Town. FriDiGiDi from Germany took down the last leg during The Festival Series Malta in September and there is one more seat available for the winner of the THMC at the Malta Poker Festival. CHARLEROI, NAMUR & SPA, BELGIUM
Belgium will be full of poker dates these weeks too. Two festivals will animate the passage into November with the Monster Experience, a live poker event with a flair of trade fair in the South of the country and the Circus Casino Resort Namur will present its Spirit Festival for a frightening Halloween poker weekend.
Later in November, the oldest casino on the planet will be inviting to Spa for the second Sharky Poker Feast put in place by the international tournament director and floor, Alex Meira. The first leg was a nice success in spring 2024 and the second edition is planned from 6th to 11th November featuring a hospitality package.
MADRID, SPAIN
And there’s a lot more coming for the end of the month!
The Circuito Nacional de Poker will celebrate its season final in collaboration with 888poker in Madrid at the Gran Madrid Casino in Torrelodones. Social gatherings, sporting and cultural activities, 888 celebrity meet-ups and plenty of poker action under the eye of the CNP media and streaming team are awaiting between 14th and 25th November. CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA
I won’t be in Madrid this year. I’m taking another path between Las Vegas and Cape Town to follow The Hendonmob Championship crew and discover the South African poker scene through the Cape Town Million event. I’m flying to gather photos and present this stop to the poker community and I will also be firing a bullet at the THMC Cape Town.
BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA
Last but really not least, three more festivals have made it on my radar for November and I will unfortunately only be able to attend one of them. The Festival Series will be off to Bratislava again for its season final. It’s a great opportunity to gather one last time with these lovers of mixed games before the newer comes. There is also an extensive hospitality program for every stop for players aiming to combine leisure and cultural discoveries with their poker adventures. All info are available on the official website.
ESTORIL, PORTUGAL
Another event worth mentioning is the season final of the Vamos Poker Tour, one of the cool young kids amongst the emerging live poker tour scene in Europe these last two years. The poker destinations are numerous, diversified and well selected with good flight connections between the stops and great accommodation packages besides the care put into the comfort and satisfaction of the players. The last festival of the year is taking place in Portugal, on the glorious Lisbon coast at Casino Estoril, that resumed poker tournament promotion this year by popular demand and with great success.
NAMUR, BELGIUM
The last event on this long Poker Radar Check session is the great poker happening coming up every year in Belgium for late November and early December. There will be at least 2 million Euro on the Namur poker tables for the Circus Poker Series festival between 26th November and 8th December. The schedule is already out and there are online satellites running on PokerStars with info available on www.pokerstarslive.com/circuspokerseries/ and on the Circus Poker website (PW=poker).
