A few weeks have gone by since I last posted updates about my ongoing solidarity challenge with nothing but the daily grind to report about. The end of January has been a tough period for my cash game graph that has been staying below its expected sister graph for the last... 4.500 hands :/ Sure, I am making plenty of mistakes but a little help by the stats would be nice for a change.

Driving to Arras (F) yesterday night for a session with LastiKaf.

On the MTT side of life, I made quite a few nice ITMs with a runner-up finish in a 250-man Omaha tourney for +€150 and a 6th place out of 536 in a BOOSTER for an additional €110 but I also had a little bit of a disappointing end of January busting a lot at or just before the bubble and I am still waiting for a bigger hit.

After 6.775 cash game hands (-€144.36 or -14 buy-ins) and 137 tourneys/satellites (+€48.97), my bankroll is down to €404.61.

I am now aiming for the Dublin Poker Festival for the next two weeks with no idea how much I will be able to play from there. Right after that, I am travelling to Namur in Belgium in order to report about the Carnival Festival in late February before leaving for the Tangier Poker Festival during early March. Busy time as a matter fact and I am not sure whether I will be able to reach the 10k hands mark in terms of cash game volume but I think it is the more sensible thing to focus on for now as I will have little spare time to sit down and enjoy deep online tourneys over the next weeks...

Plusieurs semaines se sont écoulées depuis mes dernières mises à jour sur mon Solidarity Challenge et, pour cause, avec pas grand-chose à signaler. Fin janvier a de nouveau été rude pour ma courbe de cash game qui a passé les dernières 4.500 dernières mains en dessous de sa courbe 'grande soeur' qui indique où nous pourrions en être. Il serait peut-être temps que la grande soeur redevienne une petite soeur pour un moment...

Côté MTT, j'ai réussi à faire quelques beaux résultats avec une place de runner up dans un field Omaha de 250 joueurs (+€150 de gain) et je me suis classé 6ème sur 536 d'un BOOSTER (+€110 de gain), mais j'ai eu ma part de bulles et j'attends toujours la grosse étincelle pour faire décoller la machine.

Après 6.775 mains de cash game (-€144.36 soit -14 buy-ins) et 137 tournois/satellites (+€48.97), ma bankroll chute donc à €404.61.

Actuellement, je me prépare à partir pour le Dublin Poker Festival pour les deux prochaines semaines et je n'ai aucune idée de combien je réussirai à jouer depuis là-bas. Je suppose que cela dépendra de l'ambiance sur place et de mes résultats live. Juste après, je me dirigerai vers Namur pour le Carnival Festival de fin février avant de m'envoler pour le Tanger Poker Festival début mars. Pas mal de choses dont je dois m'occuper et je ne suis donc pas certain d'atteindre les 10k mains en termes de volume de cash game, mais je pense que je vais me focaliser là-dessus ces prochains temps. D'une part, je n'aurai pas beaucoup de temps pour jouer beaucoup de MTTs et, d'autre part, j'ai pas mal de travail pour inverser la tendance actuelle de la courbe... #down.
