From Texas to China over Denmark and Morocco, we have been able to screen SAWAH in more than 100 international film festivals prior to the pandemic. The great run was interrupted just as we were in the process of releasing the film in cinemas on major European markets ... in spring 2020 ... top timing :-)
Since then, digital broadcasting has been doing the job in Europe and in the Middle East via Netflix and OSN and now, SAWAH is also available in the US through Amazon Prime.

I am glad to share some live Poker info with you today. Belgian friends are in Bratislava at the moment and they are putting on a Poker festival together with Banco Casino.
For those, who don't know, during the winter 2020/2021 lockdowns in Portugal, I spent quite some time walking and shooting the Cascais beaches in Portugal. I decided to select a series of 15 photos as a collection of prints on Portuguese tiles framed with local cork.
Although casinos are slowly coming back to life, the perspectives of a return to a flourishing international live Poker circuit remain blurry. At the moment, I am mostly playing cash games in Estoril. Could be worse :-)
If you consider visiting, I can provide you with the info you need about the games and the area. Daily games are running from 3pm starting at 1/3 NLH and 2/2 PLO at the moment. The venue has to close at 11pm though.
There is something really special about the Poker games in Estoril. There are honestly friendly interactions between casino staff members and players so sometimes, we end up doing things together other than shoving and shuffling chips and cards.
Obv, we used to be a lot more together before the pandemic, sharing moments together ranging from boat or surfing trips to karting races featuring the mandatory occasional meetings on the beach. We've been locked up for months again this winter over here but since group activities are allowed again in Portugal, a fellow Poker player started to organise weekly football games. We got ourselves a nice 7vs7 last generation synthetic field in Estoril, a standard we honestly don't deserve... Don't be fooled - the photos look nicer than our bola skills are :-D The games are friendly ... but tough. I mean ... it's football ... in Portugal. This is serious shit! The preparation for the final production steps are going well and I am pretty confident to be able to decide what kind of optional wall mount to chose from over the coming days. Shipping details and procedures are also being taken care of before I launch the official production and online sales at some point soon within the 2 next weeks.
Some copies have sold on pre-sale already. Thanks a lot for the interest! |
