With less than two weeks to go before the start of the CNP Bogota leg, the local preparations have begun.
This first stop in Bogota is only the tip of the iceberg. As a matter of fact, the CNP team have announced plans put together a Latin American live Poker tour: the Circuito Latino de Poker.

No life changing heaps of money to overload our luggage but Vigo will be remembered as a pleasant Poker stop all in all. An extensive review is in the making for Casino City Guide and you can already enjoy a large selection of images compiled with the help of Alexandre Rotenberg in the photo archive of this site.
No, it's not a day of grief, except maybe for my SPF Main Event that I busted in the next to last level of Day 1B last night. I just like black and white photography - even when it's sunny and colourful around me :-) Below is a black and white series of the heart of charming Vigo in Spain's Galicia.
All my Vigo photos together with Alexandre Rotenberg's selection are online in this trip's archive.
Alexandre Rotenberg and me are compiling some Vigo photo impressions for you these days. We've added some new pics in the album below!
It's always exciting to be in a place for the first time. I like this feeling of genuine discovery and exploration I get when I travel, especially to new places. It brings me back to a state of mind of innocence and vulnerability I can almost only remember from childhood.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade they say. Life gave me Alex, so I'm not making lemonade - we're moving around and shooting pics :-D I'm spending these days with one of my closest buddies. He is based in the Lisbon area, plays cards and shoots (great) photos. I've shared some of his work already a few times here or on my social media account and we're going to shoot and publish photos together for this trip.
Two more stops are scheduled for the end of the 10th year of the Spanish CNP agenda: Alicante in early September (see tweet below) and the Grand Final in Madrid in November. What's more, there will be another stop in Bogota in October.
Check out the POKER TRIPS section for details. In case I decide not to spent my winter months in Vegas (spoiler alert), maybe we should talk about the Circuito Nacional de Poker November stop in Madrid ...
El gran final dates have been announced! View photos of my 2021 visit HERE. The initial plan was to go back to Slovakia during September but the initial plan is always only the initial plan :-)
Turns out Bratislava will be a super busy Poker hotspot during the late September days with the Winamax WPO coming to town (see POKER TRIPS section) and the accommodation wars are raging... ... so much that I'm inclined to skip the battle for hotel rooms and airbnbs turning towards other options. One of them is the SPF stop in Vigo just above the Portugal border.
In case you are considering to attend the next Circuito Nacional de Poker event in Seville (June 2022), here is the organisation's hotel suggestion for you.
The dates for the CNP Season 10 stop in Madrid have changed. The correct dates are on this new visual.
The 10th Spanish National Poker Circuit enters Season 10 with a first stop to come in a few weeks time in Malaga.
CNP: CIRCUITO NACIONAL DE POKER, LÑP: LIGA ESPANOLA DE POKER & SPF: SPANISH POKER FESTIVAL are teaming up for a huge Poker meeting with an impressive schedule in Castellon.
Buenos dias, EL FESTIVAL NACIONAL DE POKER (official website) ! There's a Meta page too and a twitter account embeded below.
The CNP Malaga schedule is out. Go check out the CNP Meta page for details and I have also included a link to the CNP Main Event structure below.
Details and booking information is available via the POKER TRIPS section.
Every year, the Circuito Nacional de Poker, puts in place a season ranking to crown a season regular as their tour champion. With the CNP Season 10 starting after the Madrid Gran Final in January, CNP announced their new sponsored players with VICTOR JIMENEZ GAMO on top of the Season 9 pack. A kind dude and a solid Poker player. One for the good ones! Vamos!
After the blast of the CNP Gran Final in Torrelodones with its +1500-entry Main Event, all eyes are now on the next stop in Malaga coming up in April.
The 6th day of the CNP Gran Final Madrid is here and the Main Event starts today with Day 1A from this afternoon and Day 2 of the +200-entry strong High Roller.
Twitter is much less a thing over here in Europe than it is in the U.S. for instance but I still use the network specifically to follow Poker and Blockchain updates.
In Spain, however, Twitter is one of THE networks the Poker community uses to spread news. The CNP Gran Final is on since today and I made my way to Torrelodones for the coming 10 days.
I got busted in Spain! I did not blow away my roll on high stakes Poker tables. Nor did I get robbed in a dodgy underground card club. I got caught flying my drone. 🙈
Beside the announcement of the CNP 2022 schedule, SPF, one of the other relevant Spanish Poker promoters, is also announcing its year plan.
The CNP 2021 Gran Final Madrid is coming up at the end of this month and their 2022 Poker tour in Spain is already looking great.
'Third party country', 'high risk' and 'very high risk' is the classification of countries by the Spanish central government.
