Home is where the heart is, they say ... Well, a piece of my heart has been stuck in Portugal for sure over the last weeks :) <3

Portugal is an amazingly rich country in terms of traditions and History! Did you know for instance that Portugal is one of the oldest countries in Europe? It's borders were defined almost 900 years ago in 1139 and it's name appeared for the first time in 868 while the Reconquista over the Muslims was in full swing.

​Also, Lisbon appears to be older than Rome ... a few hundred years older actually, making it the second oldest European capital after Athens. It is commonly acknowledged that the first settlements can be traced back to the Phoenicians around 1200 before a guy depicted with a beard and long hair (not me :p ) showed up on the face of the Earth near Jerusalem ... The main reason for the choice of the first settlements, was the river Targus offering great transportation possibilities across the country.

Long story short, I made it to Lisbon last night for the 25 de Abril and I am already feeling #docaralho !

​Expect some fierce Poker action in one of the most beautiful places Europe has to offer! The show starts tomorrow and the Casino Estoril announced a WSOPc players' party on the 5th of May.
