Today, is my 15th day in Las Vegas and, most importantly, it's the last day of the last WSOP at the Rio.
I have obviously miserably failed and keeping my daily Vegas journal up to date here in my blog but that does not mean I have not created plenty of content for PokerFirma. I did not come to Vegas with the intention to work at all to be honest but when I got the opportunity to report for PokerFirma, I kinda had to adapt my plans and I decided to invest more time in exploring, shooting photography and playing cash games rather than geeking around on my laptop :-)
Last Friday was my 11th day, which was one of my Vegas classics. Reporting and shooting during the day. Playing myself at night. I shot Event #83 The Closer 1A, two huge buy-in events (SHR 250k & HR PLO 50k) and I railed Ole Schemion a bit as he was on his way to crushing the Hall of Fame Bounty final table.
Saturday, Day 12, was the day of The Closer 1B, on of the last big field event of the series but all eyes were on the SHR 250k finale table, the HR PLO Day 2 and another NLH 50k.
Sunday was my 13th day and, after Adrian Mateus had shipped the 250k Super High Roller bracelet, it's been a really slow Sunday all in all since we had only small fields to cover. Leo Magrets was about to ship The Closer as the only female winner in all open events and, generally speaking, I took some time for myself and got to shoot my fair share of Poker stars and celebrities.
Monday, 22nd November was Day 14th. Two weeks in Vegas and my last night at the Rio since the WSOP end today, Tuesday. The last 5k event started on Monday with a final table to come for tonight but I will most probably be busy moving to my next and last Vegas HQ for this trip after a few nights at the Rio for the WSOP phase.
Big shoutout again to Fabien Richard for the assistance. You should check out his Au coeur de Vegas Facebook project. It features loads of photos and content about French speaking players.
I'll be in Vegas for one more week. I still have a few things that I would like to publish via PokerFirma in the wake of the WSOP, I will play loads of cash games and I will fire a bullet or two at the Venetian UltimateStack event later this week.
See you around if you're also in Sin City for the rest of the month. My next move will be towards Europe I guess. Hoping to run good regarding Covid restrictions for the upcoming BPC in Namur, Belgium. Check out the PHOTOS & COVERAGES and POKER TRIPS sections for more content.
