For more than a decade now, the Circuido Nacional de Poker has been a major actor of the Spanish live poker scene and they are entering their 12th season this year.
The 2024 circuit comes with five stops in some of the best poker rooms in Spain and offers opportunities to visit some of the most amazingly beautiful cities in the South of Europe.

The last minute summer poker rentals have more or less been taken care of at this stage and we are navigating full steam ahead towards the end of another extended stay in Las Vegas. What started as a slow year on the Nevada real estate market, turned into a pretty busy spring and summer with properties coming back on the market and buyers being out for shopping again. Many new rental options are also available for mid-term and long-term stays? Tired of the ridiculously overpriced Strip life? Planning a long grind in Las Vegas over the coming months? Or maybe, you are even thinking about investing in Sin City...  Soon, the WPT will kick off the Alpha8 Trifecta series at the Wynn Las Vegas Poker Room. Three glamorous two-day events are coming up for a buy-in of 25k USD each. The dates are set to June 25-26, July 3-4 and July 10-11. I am fortunate enough to be one of the lucky photo people running around with an official WPT Media Pass this summer in Las Vegas and I will be delivering photos of the Wynn for PokerFirma.com.   THE FESTIVAL SERIES stopped in Rozvadov, Czech Republic for the first time in 2024 (see Franke's interview by Lemon Poker below) and the fun goes on for the rest of the year with scheduled stops in Malta and Bratislava.
Besides, Bratislava, Slovakia and Nottingham, UK, I joined The Festival in Malta in May 2023 and it looks like I'll be heading back to Malta in September 2024.
Our Mare*GO is still patrolling the Mediterranean Sea regularly. New crews are constantly trained and our old yellow lady of the seas always needs a lot of attention and maintenance. The project has come a long way since the Mare*GO was taken over by Zusammenland in early 2023.

I am roughly halfway through my spring/summer U.S. trip after six weeks of moving around in and around Las Vegas. PokerFirma.com provide daily updates with some of my photos as illustrations. SAVE THE DATE - Tyler Nals is back in the mix with fun meet-up games in Las Vegas this summer. The DONKEY POKER CRAWL date is set to 28th June 2024 and the games will take place at the Westgate and Sahara casinos.

A bunch of ladies event are coming up in Vegas during the LIPS Ladies Poker Summer Camp. LIPS stands for 'Ladies International Poker Series' and info can be found on the official website. 
The Wynn Summer Classic will feature a bunch of mixed games this summer between May 22nd and July 18th. Stay tuned with full schedule on the the official page for details.

The Venetian recently got a lot of attention after announcing the transformation of its poker room in order to make it the biggest room for poker in all of Vegas. Plans to complete the transformations are set for summer 2024 but there is not going to be much idle waiting in the meanwhile...
Since the WSOP 2024 schedule was released, Vegas plans are being made all across the global poker community.

It is becoming a tradition. Since 2016, I have been traveling to Las Vegas for a month at least once a year almost every year. Over the last years, the pace has significantly increased though and I am now spending something like 4 to 5 months a year in Nevada. One could say that I like it there... :-)
