Enjoy that most wonderful time of the year because the break will not last for long... :-) Loads of poker action is coming up in the coming weeks and we have published a quite astonishing 2025 live poker preview on PokerFirma.com.
Enjoy this #allineverywhere preview for January 2025.
The QPS have voluntarily decided to stay behind the main frontline of the poker promoter wars of the Iberian peninsula. First of all, the series describes itself as a low-buy-in option with entry prices of around 200 Eur for the main events and about 400 Eur for the high roller tournaments of the series. It doesn't get friendlier than that in today's poker world.
A pitstop in Luxembourg is almost never about good weather and awesome light but that does not stop photographers from getting out there and trying to capture shots. My colleague, friend and fellow photography lover, Alex Rotenberg came to visit the tiny Grand-Duchy this week and he is leaving aerial photo impressions of his autumn stay behind.
October was packed with plenty of live poker events all over the place. In Las Vegas, where I am spending the beginning of the colder season, the Wynn Autumn Classic festival is coming to an end as the next major event is about to start on the Strip.
The late September and early October CNP Estoril is a great gathering for the Portuguese poker community and souvenir photos are online in one of our drives under the link below.
The official Portuguese coverage is provided by the PokerPT colleagues and we are publishing updates in German on PokerFirma.com as well as photo albums on the Facebook page.
For more than a decade now, the Circuido Nacional de Poker has been a major actor of the Spanish live poker scene and they are entering their 12th season this year.
The 2024 circuit comes with five stops in some of the best poker rooms in Spain and offers opportunities to visit some of the most amazingly beautiful cities in the South of Europe.
This is an English version of an article originally published in German for PokerFirma.com.
From Rozvadov via the Spanish Mediterranean coast to Portugal and over to Panama before the Grand Final in Madrid with 888poker - CNP is busy working on exciting live poker projects for the second half of 2024.
The CNP poker brand and the Laroush Events organisation behind it have a great European schedule to come for the rest of 2024 and there are news about a new Latin American project for November.
The Queen Poker Series moves on in Spain after a recent stop in Troia, Portugal.
Pics of my early March stop in Troia can be found online in my photo archive. After the recent 2023 season grand final in glorious Seville, the first stop of the 2024 QPS tour is scheduled for mid-February in Bilbao, Spain.
Every year, the Admiral Casino in Seville kicks off the new year with the grand final event of the previous year. It's a great way to kick off the year with a bang. Conchi is one of the major poker promoters in Andalusia, collaborates with the other existing Spanish poker circuits, and her latest own project is called Queen Poker Series with a 100k guarantee put in place for January.
Welcome to this new episode of POKER RADAR CHECK for November and December 2023.
The poker year has been hectic and it looks like it will conclude in spectacular fashion. This is a selection of poker trips with deals for traveling poker players. In this video, we are going to browse through some of our late 2023 poker highlights. Pack your bag, we're off to great places.
Hello and welcome to our November 2023 POKER RADAR CHECK. This is an English version of information we promote in German on POKERFIRMA.COM. We also recently started testing releases of our POKER RADAR CHECK recaps as videos on YouTube. The editorial contribution should remain monthly interventions. Regarding videos, we might increase the frequency depending on demand. Feedback is welcome if someone wants to help us do things better.
We hope you have seamlessly transitioned into the fall season and that you are all enjoying the occasionally temperamental weather out there. The weather is cooling down where the poker action however continues to heat up as we head into the winter weeks.
Welcome back to Madrid! This is an English version of a recent contribution on Pokerfirma.com.
Multiple international Day 1s across Europe and a big Poker festival in Bratislava from 5th to 12th June 2023.
Another contribution on the go for PokerFirma.com and I have added an English text version below. Photos and info links can be found in the German article.
Sevilla is the spot where I got stuck when the pandemic hit Europe. It's actually one of the cities I love after visiting more than half a dozen times in total but I somehow did not make it back since then. Maybe it's time to break the spell. The first leg of CNP Season 11 will be played in beautiful Seville between 6th and 12th March.
Teaming up with Banco Casino Bratislava came with a cool bonus. I get to fly a lot in and out via the Bratislava and Vienna airports and since I'm often coming from or heading to Spain or Portugal, I get to fly over the greatest mountain range of Europe a lot more often.
This usually results in pretty cool photos! Here some shots of yesterday's flight from Madrid to Vienna on a Lauda Air Airbus A320.
Torrelodones is a municipality located in the northwest of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, about 30 km from the city centre. Due to its location between the 'Sierra de Guadarrama' and the suburbs of the capital, Torrelodones has both an agricultural side and an urban metropolitan aspect with excellent connections to the centre for the seven small towns that make it up.
I'm shooting loads of photos for the Circuito Nacional de Poker Gran Final at the Casino Gran Madrid Torrelodones these days.
Head to the photo section for links to my pics. Live updates are provided by Poker Red. Official photos are taken care of by Gema Cristobal and published on the CNP Flickr. There's also a streaming schedule starting from today. View it on Twitch. While the Spanish Poker Festival [ SPF ] Donosti is under way, only two stops remain on the SPF circuit for 2022: Rozvadov and Madrid.
It's still not likely that I will end up in the Czech Republic these weeks but Madrid is still in the race for my early December agenda planning and there's an opportunity to play the Main Event without rake. The Poker Trips section is up to date. December is still a bit of a blur but I know more or less what I'll be up to during November. Beat the Rake promos and full schedules are online in the POKER TRIPS section.
Coming up: Slovakia - Spain - Austria - Romania ... and the usual last minute randomness :-)
The biggest Poker room of Spain with its capacity of about 70 tables will be back in the spot light soon with the Circuito Nacional de Poker returning for its yearly Grand Final festival. This year, the occasion is super special since the festival is also the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the CNP project and of the 20th anniversary of the creation of one Poker’s biggest brands around: 888poker.
The Spanish Poker Festival tour is on its way to the last stops of the year and the BEAT THE RAKE promo goes on until the last series in Madrid.
