The late September 2023 weeks are about Bratislava again and photos and updates about the Winamax Poker Open at Banco Casino will come together here.

An SSL certificate is a digital certificate that authenticates a website's identity and enables an encrypted connection. SSL stands for 'Secure Sockets Layer', a security protocol that creates an encrypted link between a web server and a web browser. THE-ROUNDER.net was missing this feature over the last months because of some computer *#?$+§-<ç° :-D ... and, although we are not collecting any kind of personal data at the moment, we are happy that our website has its SSL certificate back since today, 21st September. 
September has been pretty busy already with poker events in Belgium, Liechtenstein and Slovakia in the POKER TRIPS section for the beginning of the month.
Slovakia is where I'm heading to soon after a short stop in Luxembourg. The Winamax Poker Open is calling. Also coming up, is the cash game event I am promoting in Bulgaria. Visit the link below for details about all these events. Later, October will pretty much all be about Las Vegas for me. 
The war in Ukraine is far from being over, so the LUkraine efforts continue relentlessly with an international solidarity project that has ballooned to a pretty massive enterprise incorporating hundreds of volunteers or supporters gathering and distributing hundreds of thousands of Euro in emergency support funds and medical equipment.
What is more, our beloved Mare*GO is still rocking the Mediterranean Sea saving lives every week off the Lybian coast. You can support us by donating money, attending info events, spreading the word or by buying our merchandising. 
I have chosen Belgium as my first poker stop of September 2023. Namur is back on the European poker map this week with the Circus Namur French Poker Open.
At the same time, the COOLBET OPEN is on in Bratislava and there is a lot more coming up over the next weeks in the POKER TRIPS section. Below, I will post a series of updates, photos and useful links over this week in Wallonia.

In the jungle of cash game events flourishing a bit everywhere in the poker scene, a group of European promoters have come together to offer a series of stops under the name of POKER ON TOUR. The idea is straight forward: offer cash game festivals in cool places. The upcoming stops are in Sofia, Bulgaria and in Troia, Portugal. 
The World Poker Tour live circuit stops at the Grand Casino Liechtenstein from the 30th August to 11th September with a WPT Prime Main Event between 6th and 11th September. There is a free registration worth 1.1k CHF to win thanks to Pokerfirma.com. Details are available in the link below.
I used to spend a lot of time at the Namur Casino. As a matter of fact, between 2012 and 2018, I was the house photographer of the run-down poker room dating back to the 80s. Plenty of pics from that time are still online in the photo archive. With no legal live poker option in Luxembourg where I was based until 2012, Namur and Belgium in general became the spot where my poker photography started to reach more people and, eventually, poker brands. It is also the place that kick-started my career as a live poker player.  Although I am devoting a lot of attention to Las Vegas these weeks, there is a lot of action going on in one of my European hubs over August and September and I will be visiting soon.
