After the February stop in Romania, the VAMOS POKER TOUR 'equipazo' is back in the Slovak capital this spring.

April 2023 is almost history, so it's time to take a look at the games I'll be attending in May. As the peasant's rule goes: A right May is the key to a right year. Let's see if that also applies to poker ...

After my stop in Namur, I made a short stop in Luxembourg before moving on to Estoril and Vilamoura in Portugal for the Solverde Poker Season Etapa #3 covered by PokerPT.
Some of the photos of this trip will be published in a PokerFirma.com Facebook album and all of them will be archived in the photo section of this site. Following this, I will be in Bratislava for 10-15 days. More POKER TRIPS here. After my Namur visit in Belgium and a short stop in Luxembourg, I'm off to some Portugal Poker and photo grind with Alexandre Brutally Honest Rotenberg. Drones, cameras, stacks of cash for the Estoril and Vilamoura games... We are all set for a few days of cash games in Estoril followed by the Solverde Poker Series Main Event in Vilamoura!
From the very south of Portugal, I will then beam myself to Central Europe for a photo mission during the Vamos Poker Tour stop in the Slovak capital.
Visiting Namur was a special experience this month. I used to be the house Poker photographer of the place between 2012 and 2018 and did not really return much since I left but a lot has been going on in the Belgian Poker scene over the the last years. Among the greatest changes in the live Poker landscape of Wallonia and of the whole country, is the recent mega-upgrade the Namur casino went through becoming the first and unique casino resort of the nation. The location has not changed but pretty much all the rest has. From the outside, the building was not visibly altered a lot since most parts of it are protected but the interior has been going through major transformations.
While the emergence of life on planet Earth in itself looks like a statistical miracle in the universe, there is a miracle within the miracle in each and every one of us when it comes to the variations of the human genome.

Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal and back to Slovakia.
These will be my Poker stops during the fourth month of this year. Details are always up to date under POKER TRIPS. It took the Solverde group some time to restart relevant Poker action in their casinos after the Covid months. They are back for good now it seems.
I'm thinking of visiting the Vilamoura stop in Algarve in April 2023. [ edit 06APR2023 ] Namur pics are online in the photo section of the website. [ original post ] I'll be off to Namur to shoot the new casino resort for CasinoCityGuide.eu and to take money form the old Wallonia fishes :-)
The Namur Classics will be back in late March and early April.
I'm going to be in the Slovak capital this spring. Not sure exactly when, not sure exactly for how long, not sure exactly how often ... but given the packed Poker calendar, I guess it is not really important :-)
I'll get what I am looking for: rich Poker games and plenty of photo opportunities in a city a truly love. The last time I visited Salzburg dates back to ages ago. Back then, I did not know (nor did I care) that there was a casino in town. I was more into the UNESCO world heritage aspect featuring the Baroque architecture of the gorgeous city, the Christmas markets and being in the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Phil Ivey of classical music.
