Every year a very particular trip stands out in THE-ROUNDER.net agenda: an Alpine rendez-vous in the mountains for great poker action in a charming poker room surrounded by peaks, hiking trails and ski resorts. The Seefeld Casino will host a winter CAPT stop in late January 2025.
CAPT Seefeld will take place from 20th January to 2nd February 2025.

The Casinos Austria Poker Tour kicks off the year in Seefeld again with loads of Poker and awesome views. THE-ROUNDER.net delivered photo impressions of the gorgeous stop last winter for PokerFirma.com.
Hello and welcome to our November 2023 POKER RADAR CHECK. This is an English version of information we promote in German on POKERFIRMA.COM. We also recently started testing releases of our POKER RADAR CHECK recaps as videos on YouTube. The editorial contribution should remain monthly interventions. Regarding videos, we might increase the frequency depending on demand. Feedback is welcome if someone wants to help us do things better.
We hope you have seamlessly transitioned into the fall season and that you are all enjoying the occasionally temperamental weather out there. The weather is cooling down where the poker action however continues to heat up as we head into the winter weeks.
Greetings from Austria! The Casinos Austria Poker Tour is stopping in awesome Salzburg this week.
Info on the CAPT website. Updates via PokerFirma.
Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal and back to Slovakia.
These will be my Poker stops during the fourth month of this year. Details are always up to date under POKER TRIPS. The last time I visited Salzburg dates back to ages ago. Back then, I did not know (nor did I care) that there was a casino in town. I was more into the UNESCO world heritage aspect featuring the Baroque architecture of the gorgeous city, the Christmas markets and being in the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Phil Ivey of classical music.
My first visit at the Dusk Till Dawn Club has been a good experience during THE FESTIVAL. One of the only unpleasant things about the Poker room is its location in Nottingham. The city as such is a very nice place but no big international airport connects it to Europe. The Birmingham or East Midlands airport are not too far away but don't offer many international travel options.
I am mostly going for the sake of putting in another snowboarding session before it is too late for this season but maybe someone wants to join for the Poker aspect ;-)
We are offering you to freeroll the CAPT Snow Fest with PokerFrima ! Pics of my winter months in Bratislava are available in my photo archive. Late January comes with a Portuguese interlude and here are aerial photography shots of a recent flight between Vienna and Lisbon.
After a failed attempt to visit one of the Casino Austria Poker Tour (CAPT) stops in Baden near Vienna last November, I'm back at it with a plan to combine some Poker with snowboarding.
I fired up the snowboarding season in early January together with two Poker friends form Croatia and we made our way to the Slovak High Tatras. There's a blog post about it HERE. There's also a contribution in German on PokerFirma. ... and now I'm hooked again after a few years of skipping what is probably the sport I'm best at and I want more.
Teaming up with Banco Casino Bratislava came with a cool bonus. I get to fly a lot in and out via the Bratislava and Vienna airports and since I'm often coming from or heading to Spain or Portugal, I get to fly over the greatest mountain range of Europe a lot more often.
This usually results in pretty cool photos! Here some shots of yesterday's flight from Madrid to Vienna on a Lauda Air Airbus A320. The Poker Trips section is up to date. December is still a bit of a blur but I know more or less what I'll be up to during November. Beat the Rake promos and full schedules are online in the POKER TRIPS section.
Coming up: Slovakia - Spain - Austria - Romania ... and the usual last minute randomness :-) How about playing Poker in grand style at Casino Baden less than one hour from Vienna? The Casinos Austria Poker Tour [CAPT] will stop in Baden in a few weeks and I'm thinking of getting some fresh mountain air. The tournaments buy-ins range between €60 and €2.2k .
Check out the full schedule HERE. The Poker Invest Belgium community is traveling to Austria in late January. What about you? Combine a nice Ski holiday with friends or with your family with great Poker tournaments in the Austrian Alps. Get in touch with Georgy Verstrepen for more info. Every player is in charge of his own bookings but Georgy will provide you with excellent information and tips regarding accomodation deals in partner hotels and pensions. You'll find the complete schedule between January 31st and February 9th HERE. More info about Casino Seefeld available HERE. Map HERE. A great poker festival is to come in Vienna combining the Concorde Million, the WPT Vienna National Series and the Alps Poker Tour. Three weeks of check, bet, call, raise, all-in all over Vienna from October 9th to 24th. Check your Bankroll, October is gonna be wild! |
