The Casino Gran Madrid of Torrelodones will once again host the Grand Final of the Circuito Nacional de Poker (CNP).
From November 16 to 27 the Casino Gran Madrid of Torrelodones will be again the epicenter of the national Spanish poker scene with the celebration of the Grand Final of the 11th season of the circuit.
The event is once again called to be one of the biggest of the year in Spain. The 10th season broke all the records of the circuit with 4,204 participants in the festival and Eur 1,724,560 distributed in prizes. 1,553 entries were cumulated in the Main Event generating a pool of Eur 854,150 and leaving a first prize of Eur 120,000. A real madness especially if one considers that CNP events come with no guarantee!
A program of 16 tournaments will animate the 11 days of poker action. For the Grand Final of this 11th season, slight modifications are to be expected in the schedules compared to earlier festivals. The changes aim to reduce queues especially during the second part of the festival. The main novelty for international guests is that the final table of the Main Event will be played on Monday November 27.
Buy-ins range from Eur 125 to 2k with variants including Crazy Pineapple, Dos Vidas (Two Lives), Win the Button, Mystery Bounty, PLO … The 2k High Roller will be a knockout event with bounties of Eur 500 per eliminated player that get multiplied by 10 after the bubble bursts. In essence, every elimination brings a prize of 5k.
In addition, this Grand Final will host a Eur 1,100 888poker Made To Play High Roller.
The Eur 550 Main Event will have 5 initial flights starting on Wednesday, November 22 with Day 1A, highlighting Friday 24 with a double-flight-day featuring Flight 1C with 45-minute levels and Flight 1D with 30-minute levels.
For the lucky ones who have access to them, 888poker also puts up a bunch of online satellites for the Main Event, the Made To Play High Roller, and the Mini CNP.

Torrelodones is located about 45 minutes outside Madrid. It’s easy to reach by ride service from the Barajas international airport for about Eur 50 and it’s also possible to reach this poker destination by train. Renting a car is also a good option since the casino is technically located on a motorway exit and is not meant to be accessed on foot.
