The biggest Poker room of Spain with its capacity of about 70 tables will be back in the spot light soon with the Circuito Nacional de Poker returning for its yearly Grand Final festival. This year, the occasion is super special since the festival is also the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the CNP project and of the 20th anniversary of the creation of one Poker’s biggest brands around: 888poker.
10 days of finest live Poker action are awaiting from 10th to 20th November in Torrelodones. This event is for sure going to be one of the major Poker gatherings of the nation. The CNP Season 9 finals regrouped close to 4000 single players for over 1.3M Eur in prize pool distribution with 1503 entries in the Main Event for a prize pool of more than 750000 Eur and 120000 for first place. Genuine madness!CNP and 888poker have been evolving hand in hand in Spain since the 2018 CNP888LIVE Barcelona that gathered 744 entries at 600 Eur followed by the CNP888LIVE at Gran Via for 888 Eur and a field of 1067 entries in its Main Event.
This Madrid event will be the 4th 888LIVE festival of the year and will feature a special double anniversary tournament: the 888LIVE 20° ANNIVERSARY for a buy-in of 1100 Eur from 14th - 17th November featuring a live streaming of its Day 3. Numerous packages and ticket only satellites have been running online over the last weeks and it’s far from over. Come together With 16 events in total over a total of 10 playing days, the schedule is going to be intense for those who want but the festival has been designed as a grand gathering leaving a lot of room and time for special happenings and coming together as a community. The event will surely get a lot of media and player attention including ours :-) I will spend the first weekend and most of the week in Torrelodones before moving on to CAPT Baden in late November. The event in Madrid will be officially covered by Gema Cristobal combining both the roles of official CNP and international 888live photographer. The buy-ins range from really expensive to genuinely affordable and will feature numerous different variants like the Crazy Pineapple, Two Lives, Mystery Bounty or PLO events beside the big 1.1k 888LIVE 20° Anniversary and the 550 Eur Main Event with its five fights from 16th to 20th November.
