Last Main Event flights of the week today, Friday 27th October.

The poker room ended up filling up from Thursday with Day 1E and 1F in the Main Event, the finals of the Mystery Bounty, and the PLO eevent in the books. Two more Main Event flights are coming up for Friday.

It's not going to be the biggest festival of the year in Namur but it's great to promote this attempt to put together a festival somewhere between short-handed and full-ring games. Putting on a short-handed festival is a little bit of a hassle in terms of staff costs and the gaming floors become potentially less profitable since less players are occupying the space. Less players, on the good side of things, means that the ones attending can look forward to comfortable playing conditions and a better general customer experience when it comes to service and restaurant bookings.

There have a been multiple Namur visits this year resulting in a quite a bit of new photos of this recently renewed casino featuring one of the big poker rooms of Europe.

All in all, Namur has a pretty small hotel capacity so the 'first come, first served' principle counts double when visiting the capital of Wallonia during an event.

The casino is open 24/7 and poker games run around the clock on weekends with tables opening from 2/2 to whatever limit is needed to keep everybody happy. The occasional 25/50 is always a treat and the games are often played with straddles.
