To recover from an intense Las Vegas trip in June and July, I had planned a quiet August ... nothing came of it - unless attending three major mid-stake poker events in two cities more than 1000 km apart counts as a quiet month in any world :-)
This is one of my latest PokerFirma.com contributions in German. There are many decent browser plugins out there to offer online translations for those who are not into German and there is a text-only version in English below.
I've spent most of the August weeks in Belgium and Slovakia, with a short retreat in Luxembourg in between. That's where I'm heading for another short stopover after the POKER-SM LIVE and POLISH POKER SUMMER CUP events in Bratislava and another month ago #allineverywhere. Hello, September 2023 #pokertrips.
The first big event on my September radar is the French Poker Open in Namur, where I've stopped off a couple of times this year. Lots of photos are in the PHOTO ARCHIVE and useful info about upcoming live poker events in Belgium's unique casino resort are online HERE.
At the same time, the COOLBET team will take Bratislava by storm with numerous online qualifiers. We can expect another big six-figure prize pool in the vibrant Slovakian capital and plenty of cash games around the clock at Banco Casino. Info links are online HERE.
On the more prestigious end of September, the WPT PRIME takes place in Liechtenstein. We have covered this event a lot on PokerFirma.com.
Later in the month, I recently added a cash game festival that I won't be attending personally, but will be promoting with some of the people behind the Million Poker Festival project. The destination is Sofia in Bulgaria, and there will be more information about a stop in Portugal soon. You can find out more HERE.
Last but not least, the poker wind will carry me to Bratislava again for one of the international poker highlights of the season: the WINAMAX POKER OPEN.
For more details and tips, the POKER TRIPS section of THE-ROUNDER.net is full of info links and is regularly updated with resources for travelling poker players.
Have fun at the tables!
See you everywhere.
