#allineverywhere is back with a nice summer tour in Portugal, Spain, Belgium and Slovakia. The hashtag has not been around too much on social media though since I am on a sort of screen detox for a few weeks. Still, I enjoy sharing some updates here with you guys especially since it becomes more and more reasonable to travel. I have not completely disappeared from social media and I keep enjoying the feedback I get. Yet, I am looking forward to meeting more and more people IRL that are getting back on the circuit also and I prefer to dedicate my self-imposed reduced screen time to studying and to other more productive activities.
There's still not much going on in terms of work in my agenda. I am still thinking of projects to (re)initiate but honestly, most of my time goes into grinding, its analysis and its preparation at the moment.
My trip to Bratislava in early July was not a success financially speaking but it made obvious to me how much I can play and still perform well in terms of mindset and decision taking. I played 80+ hours over 12 days of grinding at Banco Casino. Variance has been a bit of a joke but I have learned a few things, which is always great for future equity.
Since then, and because I am feeling so confident at the tables, I have put in quite some volume in low stakes live cash games. I played a few days in Namur in late July/early August and I have been playing a lot in Estoril, Portugal over August. Another 100 hours of live cash game in the books! Earnings are not glorious but all bills are paid and I eat every day :-)
Madrid & Castellon, Spain
I am about to leave Portugal for Madrid. Basically, I am visiting a good friend but something tells me we'll end up at a Poker table every now and then :-P Casino Gran Via in the heart of the capital is always a treat and since my buddy enjoys playing tournaments more than I do, I might fall for the random weekend MTT in Torrelodones - never say never... I decided not to beam myself all the way to the coast for the SPF Castellon event since I have stuff going on in Luxembourg in late August but MTT lovers should take a look at the tournament schedule. I hope this is the beginning of the SPF return. I know for sure that dates have been arranged with King's Resort for an SPF Winter Edition in early 2022 but there is still no official news about other SPF events to come on Spanish soil.
Namur, Belgium
From September 2nd to 6th, I will be back playing cash games in Belgium. The Grand Casino de Namur is running a small festival with a 500-Euro Main Event featuring a 20k guarantee every first weekend of the summer months. More info can be found on their website.
Estoril, Portugal
I will briefly be back in Luxembourg after my Namur stop but I am planning to grind the Estoril tables again from September 9th or 10th. The weather is still amazing at this time of the year and the Poker room should remain open until 2 or even 3am throughout September.
Bratislava, Slovakia
It's not super clear what I will be doing from mid-September in Portugal but I am contemplating a trip to Bratislava, Slovakia in late September. More info will follow here in The Blog and in the Poker Trips section. The organisers have already announced a lot of reservations and it seems the Crowne Plaza hotel is full already for the 10 last days of September. Great action ahead!
I archive my travel and project photos on a Flickr account in case you care. Below, you will find a link to it with some recent Portugal pictures. Enjoy and thanks for your attention!
