I left Vegas early this morning after more than 40 days of Sin City action. A first 4.5-hour flight to Montreal, more than 3 hours of layover and another 5.5-hour flight to Brussels followed by a 3-hour train ride to Luxembourg. Let's put it that way: I've had enough time to edit and upload the last photos of my 2021 U.S. trip :-)
Vegas has become cold over the last two weeks, especially at night. The National Weather Service has issued winter storm watches and warnings across seven U.S. states bracing for incoming winter storms. Parts of Nebraska, Iowa, New Mexico, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Colorado were all under a winter storm watch as of Wednesday afternoon and some of these weather systems reached us in Nevada too inducing freezing temperatures at night and first snow in the mountains around Las Vegas.
Oddly, the name of the airport changed during my less than two-month stay as we reported on PokerFirma. The good old McCarran airport has become Harry Reid International a few days ago.
