I'll arrive in Vegas for two months on the 31st of May around noon and the feedback I get is great. The WSOP are always the most intense time of the Poker media circus featuring lots of daily news to digest on one side and a great appetite for content from the followers on the other one. With numerous members of the international Poker scene gathering, stories, rumours, results or clashes are the bread and butter of the journalists and I will partially be drawing from but I will also be feeding the Poker media monster. After a spontaneous but successful common late 2021 Vegas adventure for the belayed WSOP, I am back at the desk creating content for the German speaking leader of the news portals about the game with cards and plastic chips. From what I know, I will be one of the main sources for German, Swiss and Austrian WSOP content and I will be sharing my Vegas experience and wisdom through two series of articles. It's always quite an honour to be chosen as a PokerFirma correspondent in Las Vegas and it's also a pretty big responsibility that I take very seriously since my content there is a lot more read and followed than on this random personal blog. Part of the content will be prepared in collaboration with win2day ambassador and MTT shark, Jessica Teusl. I've recently blogged about it HERE in case you're interested. I'll mostly be living with French Poker reporting legend, Fabien Richard and some other friends from the French Poker community during this Vegas stay. We rented a neat house a few blocks away from the strip in order to preserve our sanity and we'll be using it as a work base but also as a spot to rest and calm down after the daily Vegas fuzz. Fabien will be managing the new King's Casino cash game lounge, do some public relations work for the One Drop foundation that he is now representing in Europe and shoot a bunch of French speaking WSOP players from France, Belgium, Switzerland or Canada. We're not properly working on anything structured together. Yet, we enjoy spending time together during the sometimes endless WSOP nights and we'll be posting random content on the Au Coeur de Vegas Facebook page. Mainly photos since we shoot so many day in day out. What's more, I'll probably shoot a lot of random stuff, go for walks and hikes, do excursions, maybe spend some time in L.A. ... My brother will be in town at some point for a few weeks, many friends will be around - I'm sure we will come up with cool things to do. Some of the shots will be used for stock photography or book cover art depending on what I manage to use with the always brutally honest photo expertise of Alex Rotenberg. I did a complete reset of my Poker bankroll and goals in June 2021. Over the last year, I have managed to play around 100 hours of live cash games per month on average. Vegas is the place where I could definitely do more. I played for 160 hours during my 5 weeks alone in Vegas after the WSOP 2021 at the end of last year but I doubt I will find the time and energy with everything that will already be on my hands for this trip. That said, with easily 200 tables of cash game running every night, I am clearly aiming to play a bunch in Vegas. I'm eager to try the new WSOP cash games on the Strip and I'm looking forward to going back to the Aria nightly PLO games until 10000am but I'll also be happy to try new locations. Open to suggestions! One of the Poker highlights of my trip will for sure be the MGM Grand Meet Up Game I was invited to. You can read about it in THIS POST. If you enjoy what you see and read, go get more! I curate all recent relevant #allineverywhere content of the BLOG and occasionally from other sources via my Scoop.it account.
