Lately, I've survived a spooooky gloooobal pandemic, I lost close to all my clients in the wake of this stupid thingy, I've visited armed conflict zones because some guys with really a lot of power were being silly, I've spent a total of four months in Vegas over the last year (almost) without going on monkey tilt, I've been going through my roughest downer e-ver (by far!) in terms of Poker swings and I've not been crushed by the bear (market) ... so far. If what does not kill you, makes you stronger, I should be pretty close to almighty by now :-) and since the upswing is coming back soon anyway, it's time to make new ambitious projects.
No big scoop here, I'll keep producing content for PokerFirma, the Poker media leader on the German speaking market, but we're going to try to step things up a bit by releasing some of my content in German on their website.
The-Rounder.net will remain what it is and mostly in English. What will change for me, is that I'll basically work a bit more to curate my own content in order to identify what is worth being translated for its potential usefulness for German, Austrian, Swiss, Lichtenstein and Luxembourg readers. And also the other way around possibly. Yes ... I know that many readers of this blog don't speak German but modern translator plugins for your browser do an ok job with basic texts like the ones I release. It's no high-end literature or poetry. It's still Poker and Travel content. Remember? The monkey game with the cards and the plastic money and landscape photos in the articles? You'll do fine with my German content - I promise :-) You can read some of it under the Damiano Nigro tag on PokerFirma.
I'll keep doing what I do and will recurrently visit places and play cards in locations like Estoril, Bratislava or Las Vegas but I'll probably be adding a bunch of places to my regular stops in my late 2022 and 2023 schedules to produce adequate content for the PokerFirma office. There are a few relevant and interesting international Poker stops in the D-A-CH area. Rozvadov of course but also a bunch of other casinos and Poker festivals like the Grand Casino in Aš (Cz) or some prestigious Casino Austria events for instance... There are still many new places where #allineverywhere can bring me!
You can stay tuned about my suggestions for upcoming POKER TRIPS in the dedicated section of this site and I'll keep shooting photos on the go that I will archive in the PHOTOS & COVERAGES section.
