Covid uncertainties are part of the factors that I was able to implement in my #allineverywhere decision taking over the past two years but the evolution of the war in Ukraine is a tricky one to predict and to adapt for since I got involved in a bunch of solidarity actions via this blog. Long story short, I decided to shorten my initial U.S. travel plan and I will 'only' spend two months over there. Less road trips in funky remote places but still a lot of reporting from Las Vegas and its surroundings for some PokerFirma content.
The main reason why I am shortening my stay, is that I am setting up a base in Bratislava. Initially, this was a common plan with my Belgian buddies of PokerBelgique that could have waited until summer time but the war in Ukraine and the solidarity projects we are kicking off together with David Pichler, make me wanna be closer and more available over there. Bratislava is a great Poker spot so I won't be missing the action but it's also ideally located between David's base in Austria and Ukraine as a neighbouring country. We are active in Ukraine, mainly with emergency deliveries and evacuation assistance but we also help people to relocate in a decent manner. I am mostly operating in Slovakia from Bratislava but we are also in touch with great people from Poland, Sweden and Luxembourg.
I will be flying directly into Vegas from Frankfurt in late May and I will return to Europe in late July so I can be all set to report for PokerFirma during the whole duration of the WSOP 2022.
Beside the German speaking Poker heroes, I'll also be spending some time with members of the French speaking community via Fabien Richard who has not missed one single WSOP since 1653 and who will be feeding his Au Coeur du Poker page while acting as the recently announced One Drop ambassador for Europe.
I'll keep my plans of road tripping and visiting other casinos across the U.S. for later this year. I kinda had plans to travel to Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Louisiana later this year around November so I'll probably get my chance to adapt those plans too later on.
If you enjoy WSOP and USA photos, you're welcome to browse my latest album of pics shot during last November/December.
I use #allin4ukraine on social media to promote the solidarity projets we are currently working on with David in case you care to keep up.
